The grapes, cultivated with care and devotion throughout the year, are treated with natural methods and fermented in either steel vats or oak barrels depending on the varietal. By drawing on our many years of experience and technical innovations, we aim to impart the unique character of the vineyards and the varietal to the wines in our cellars.
Our family-run winery is concentrated on the two native South Tyrolean varieties Schiava (Santa Maddalena) and Lagrein. The vineyards in the Santa Maddalena area offer ideal climatic and pedologic conditions for them. In addition, small quantities of Chardonnay and Merlot are cultivated, which grow in a slightly cooler vineyard, characterized by very clayey soils.
