Old vines and low yields. Dark red fruits, spices, deep, dense with a long finish. The grapes for Lagrein Riserva ferment in large oak barrels for about 15 days. The wine ages in 500-litre tonneaus for about a year, after which it is blended and after another three or four months in large oak casks it is bottled with subsequent ageing in the bottle.
The cellar
The grapes, cultivated with care and devotion throughout the year, are treated with natural methods and fermented in either steel vats or oak barrels depending on the varietal. By drawing on our many years of experience and technical innovations, we aim to impart the unique character of the vineyards and the varietal to the wines in our cellars.
